The Ministry of Finance in Israel yesterday published the request for proposals tender for 2 sections of the Northern Section of the Trans-Israel toll road. The closing date for the proposals is 31 May 2011 and bidders will be required to show how they can build, finance and maintain the 20.5 km section of the Road 6 toll road. As this section in northern Israel has a low economic viability the successful bidder may be receive a Government grant.
